Stephen C. Kasper Scholarship

The Stephen C. Kasper Scholarship was established in 2013 through the estate of the late Stephen Kasper. Stephen, who died in 2010, was a quadriplegic as a result of a motor vehicle accident while a high school student. After the accident, Stephen used his situation as an example to other young people about what could happen to them if they, like he, chose to be a passenger in a vehicle operated by a peer under the influence of alcohol. The scholarship is awarded to traditional-age students (age 21 and under), having due regard for their community activities, scholastic achievements and financial need.
