Melva Visher '81

Melva D. Visher is a 1981 alumna of SUNY Empire. Her career as a health care executive was made possible largely due to the educational preparation she received at the college. After graduating with Associates, Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from SUNY Empire, Melva was afforded many professional opportunities which allowed her to enjoy a 40+ year career as a health care executive and college professor in Buffalo, New York. Her intention is to give future students who experience financial challenges the opportunity to move forward and complete their educational goals. Her interest is in funding students studying business, nursing, or allied health who are nearing the end of their undergraduate program.
