Arcadeo and Sadie J. Browne Amparado "Force for Change" Scholarship

For Black male students studying Community and Human Services, Human Development, Labor, Social Science. Special consideration for LGBTQ advocates, and students living in Metro NY.

Established in 2014 through the generosity of Keith Amparado, the Arcadeo and Sadie J. Browne Amparado “Force for Change” Scholarship is open to Black male students in any location of the university who meet the Foundation’s scholarship eligibility criteria. Eligible students will be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Community and Human Services, Human Development, Labor Studies, Social Science (formerly known as Social Theory Structure and Change), or a related field that will empower them to become a “Force for Change” and have a positive impact on our political, economic and social systems and institutions. Special consideration will be given to students who advocate on behalf of LGBTQ causes and students residing in the Metropolitan New York region.
