Pope Family Scholarship

Established in 2022 through the generosity of Rodney Pope and family. This scholarship is available to historically underrepresented undergraduate students residing in the greater New York City area with financial need, who meet the SUNY Empire Foundation’s scholarship eligibility criteria. Preference will be given to students exhibiting leadership in overcoming adversity and improving themselves and their family by working to support themselves as they pursue a college degree. It is the Pope family’s hope that this scholarship will be given to students who embrace diversity in all forms.
