Ortiz Family Scholarship

The Ortiz Family Scholarship is established to promote diversity in the pool of people pursuing careers as K-12 educators. This scholarship will be awarded with preference to students from a traditionally underrepresented background enrolled in the Master of Arts in Teaching program. Secondary consideration is given to similar students working towards a master’s degree to achieve permanent certification, or working towards an undergraduate degree with the intention of teaching or entering a Master of Arts Teaching program shortly after graduation.
