Arcadeo and Sadie J. Browne Amparado "Force for Change" Scholarship

Established in 2014 through the generosity of Keith Amparado, the Arcadeo and Sadie J. Browne Amparado “Force for Change” Scholarship was created to honor his parents by providing students with educational opportunities that might otherwise exceed their reach. The scholarship is available to students with need pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Community & Human Services, Human Development, Labor Studies, Social Theory Structure & Change, or a related field that will empower them to become a “Force for Change” and have a positive impact on our political, economic, and social systems and institutions. Special consideration will be given to students demonstrating a commitment to advancing inclusive communities to enhance LGBTQIA+ members’ sense of belonging and experiences, and those residing in the Metropolitan New York region.
